Are you interesting in welcoming a high school student to the United States and showing the beauty of our country? If you answered YES to these questions then you may be interested in submitting an application for consideration to be a host family for an international exchange student.
Things to consider before applying for this program:
-Does the host family have a current high school student residing in Duval, Clay or St. John's county?
-Will everyone 17 years of age and older living in the home be willing to submit to a background check
-Does the family have a room and bed for the exchange student
-Are you able to provide at least 3 meals a day and a snack for the duration of the exchange student's stay
-Is the household income at least $25,000/year
-Are you able to secure consistent transportation for the exchange student to get to and from school and other activities
